Dog’s Food?

Our family was having dinner at the table. We had pork-rid winter melon soup. Almost all Cantonese make good soup, especially the aunties of my parent’s generation. Soup is a must dish for our dinner every day.
Colleen liked to eat the tender meat dropping off the pork-rids. After she finished one, the rid was very clean, which was about one adult’s index finger long. She used her teeth gripping the rid horizontally, put both hers hands on the table, knelt down on the chair and said, “ It is a dog.” Goodness, it was so vivid and Colleen was so lovely.
However, we were not taking dog’s food, but the unique and the most delicious home cooked food done by my Aunty.
