新加坡小学入学报名次序

Phase 1：For a child who has a sibling studying in a school of choice.
第一次序：有兄弟姐妹在校的适龄小朋友

Phase 2A1： For a child whose parent is a former student of the school and who has joined the alumni association as a member not later than 30 Jun 2009; or whose parent is a member of the School Advisory/Management Committee.
第二次序：父母是校友，或在报名的一年前或之前加入校友会，或父母是学校校董会成员。

Phase 2A2: For a child whose parent or sibling has studied in the school of choice; or whose parent is a staff member of the school of choice.
第三次序：父母或兄弟姐妹曾在该校学习，或父母是学校的教职 员工。

Phase 2B: For a child whose parent has joined the school as a parent volunteer not later than 1 July 2009 and has given at least 40 hours of voluntary service to the school by 30 June 2010; or whose parent is a member endorsed by the church/clan directly connected with the school; or whose parent is endorsed as an active community leader.
第四次序：父母在报名前的一年内在学校当义工至少40个小时，或父母是学校有嫡亲关系教会团体的成员或领袖。

Phase 2C:For a child who is ineligible for or unsuccessful in earlier phases.
第五次序：住家地址在学校方圆一公里内；然后是住家地址在学校方圆两公里内。

Phase 2C Supplementary: For a child who is unsuccessful in gaining a place in a school of choice at Phase 2C.
第五次序：住家地址在学校方圆两公里外。

Phase 3: a child who is neither a Singapore Citizen nor a Singapore Permanent Resident.

最后次序：孩子是非公民和永久居民

若次序名额填满，就以抽签决定。

所以，新加坡的名小学名额竞争剧烈是相当吓人的，很多名小学到了第四次序就招满了。
